Refund and Returns Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
We want every Sol & Sahara Goods order to be prepared accurately and received in good condition. This policy reflects the perishable, handmade, and small-batch nature of our bakery and market products.
Bakery and other perishable items
For food-safety and quality reasons, bakery items, eggs, and other perishable goods generally cannot be returned after pickup. If an item is incorrect, missing, damaged at pickup, or materially different from the confirmed order, contact us promptly—preferably within 24 hours—with the order information and a clear description of the issue. A photograph may help us resolve a quality or damage concern.
Depending on the circumstances and product availability, an appropriate resolution may be a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or full refund. We do not promise a particular remedy until the issue has been reviewed.
Order changes and cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Because products may be made specifically for your pickup date, changes or cancellations are not guaranteed after ingredients have been allocated or production has begun. Approved cancellations will be returned to the original payment method when possible.
Shipped food orders
For missing parcels, damaged packaging, or a food quality issue on arrival, follow the reporting steps in our Georgia Shipping Policy. Include your order and tracking numbers and photos when safe. Please contact us before sending food back.
Missed or delayed pickup
Customers are responsible for collecting orders during the communicated pickup window. Contact us promptly if you are delayed. We will make reasonable efforts to help, but we cannot guarantee the quality or availability of a perishable order after its scheduled pickup period and may be unable to refund an uncollected order that was prepared as confirmed.
Soaps, candles, and other non-food goods
Please contact us before returning any non-food item. To be considered for return, an item should be unused, in its original condition, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Opened soaps and other personal-care products ordinarily cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Used or burned candles ordinarily cannot be returned unless the product was defective.
If a non-food item is damaged or incorrect when received, contact us promptly and include photographs when practical. Normal handmade variation, personal fragrance preference, or damage caused by improper storage or use is not considered a defect.
Event and farmers-market purchases
For purchases made at a farmers market or event, keep the receipt or other proof of purchase and contact us with the event date, location, and product details. Perishable-product and product-safety conditions in this policy still apply.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are submitted to the original payment method when available. Financial institutions and payment providers control when a credit appears, so posting times may vary. Shipping, delivery, processing, or third-party fees are refundable only when required by law or specifically approved as part of the resolution.
Gifts and third-party purchases
Refunds are normally issued to the original purchaser and original payment method. Gift recipients may be offered another appropriate resolution where practical.
How to request help
Email info@solandsahara.com with your name, order number or proof of purchase, the affected item, and a description of the concern. Please do not mail or otherwise send a product back unless we have provided return instructions.
Your legal rights
This policy does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.
